SCANDALEYES ROCKIN' CURVES MASCARA Review

Rimmel London's first broken heart-shaped brush creates a fringe of big, curvy, rockin’ lashes. This cleverly-shaped applicator twists and curves to hug the lash line; the thin tip grabs hard-to-reach inner lashes, while the amplified base pulses lashes with incredible volume and curve. Lashes are plumped and lifted in one clean stroke.

RIMMEL LONDON
SCANDALEYES ROCKIN' CURVES MASCARA
RRP: $16.95
Purchase at Priceline, Target, Kmart, BIG W,
selected pharmacies and selected Coles and Woolworths.
For stockists please call 1800 812 663.

I haven't seen or heard much about this mascara on bloggers or youtube channel, so I was keen to get my hands on this, and get my opinion out. I'm always on the look out for new, improved mascaras that deliver longer and thinker lashes, as I have quite short lashes and I hate wearing falsies everyday.

I must say the packaging is really different and unique to any mascara I've seen before. The formula comes in a normal large tube ( like all the Rimmel Scandaleyes mascaras come in) however the actually label on the barrel is textured to mimic the snake print. I personally like the design as its quite interesting, and definitely catches your eye.

The flexibility of this brush in insanely fantastic as you can twist, turn and flip the thin brush wand to create dramatic volume and curves. With the thin brush tip it allows you to reach small lashes in your inner corner and along your lower lash line with the end of the wand. By rotating the wand it ends up curling and lifting your lashes and doesn't smudge all over your eyes.

CRAZY EYES : the mascara gave me extra length, lifted and curled.
After a few application, the mascara will look a little spidery and clumpy. I personally like this look on my eyes as it adds more volume, but then again everyone is different. It's isn't too noticeable though, and it does not flake. Now the end results; I wore this all day to work. The staying power was quite surprising! The mascara has kept my lashes curled, full and think. It hasn't smudged around or under my eyes. If you want to avoid any signs of smudging - there is a waterproof formula available too.

Rimmel London: Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation Review.

Cut the cake, it’s time to celebrate!
Rimmel London has an exciting new launch for shine prone skin! Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation promises a fresh, natural finish that stays matte all day and does not cake.

RIMMEL LONDON
Stay Matte
Liquid Mousse Foundation - 200 Soft Beige
RRP: $14.95

Finally matte without the mask! Wonderfully weightless, fabulously fresh, Rimmel’s Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation takes shine control to the next level – a million miles from the mask effect associated with traditional matte foundations. Its airy lightweight mousse texture, incorporating state-of-the-art gel emulsifiers, simply glides over the skin, blending seamlessly and evenly. Simultaneously, it contains extra-lightweight mattifying powders to create a flawless, silken, shine-free finish
that lasts all day, leaving skin looking fresh and naturally matte.

To match its fantastic new formula, Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation also boasts fabulous new packaging. A lighter, more convenient and more practical alternative to glass jars, featuring an eye-catching purple cap, shade matched tubes and graphics spotlighting the iconic Rimmel crown. the extensive range of 8 shades means you’re sure to find the perfect shade for you. I liked the packaging. It was quite simple but yet very eye catching. It's in a plastic tube with a screw on lid. The lid does screw on tightly, so it's very travel friendly! Also has a matte kinda feel to the tube. Which is also amazing!

The texture of this foundations is thick and kinda mousse-like, it came out of the tub solid, but easily can be glided onto the skin that helps it smooths out perfectly and creamy. I applied the product with my fingers, As this product is solid, I thought it would be thick and hard to blend into the skin. I clearly was shown up. It blended evenly with a gorgeous matte finish.  It's full coverage and doesn't have that cakey look or feel, that we all hate. It's also hides redness and partially covers blemishes.

This liquid mousse foundation is amazing. I love the finish, it was quite matte and I didn't have to apply any powder. It did last all day without any shiny areas, fading nor reapplying. I might just replace all my old foundations with this one!

Available in eight shades: Fair Ivory, Ivory, True Ivory, Soft Beige, Classic Beige, Sand, True Nude, and Natural Beige.

* I was not paid to review or feature this post, however I was sent this item. Everything stated above is my own, honest and experience opinion. *

Rimmel London: Match Perfection Bronzer

When it comes to warmer months, everyone loves that natural, flawless sun kissed look. Instead of using those silly fake tanning sprays, Rimmel London has a Bronzer that can give the results of a golden goddess without laying outside in the smoking hot sun.
" Smart tone bronzing technology perfectly coordinates 2 complementary bronzing shades to adapt to your face contours. Blue Sapphire pigments in the middle counteract orange tones to give a fresher, more even, perfectly natural tanned look. "
Credit: Rimmel London UK
RIMMEL LONDON
Match Perfection Bronzer
RRP: $16.95
As I'm a huge lover for bronzers, I love to try all different types, to see what brands have the best pigments, results, colour lasting and sometimes the design of the product. Rimmel London Match Perfection Bronzer has quite a unique design, it had a swirl pattern, kinda reminds me of the sand from the beach. With three different tones of shades. Darker tan, Lighter tan than a small blue centre containing an embossed Rimmel crown.

The centre contains Blue Sapphire pigments that help boost a healthy looking glow and to counteract those orange tones, to give a fresher natural tanned look. Seeing the blue was kinda odd, as I've never seen anything like that before, it's invisible when switched, so you don't have to worry about a blue line across your face.

This Bronzer goes on real smooth, and doesn't have that orange or harsh tones. Although it does have a golden shimmer to it, which can be toned down if you blend really well. Just a simple sweep across the cheeks and youve got that summer bronze glow.

** this product was sent to me, to be reviewed and blogged. I was not paid in anyway. All opinions are my own, also my own photos, unless stated **

September Favorites :)

September was a great month for discovering new products, from body, face to jewellery. These are the products I've been loving through out last month, so I'm just going to jump straight into it.

Couleur Caramel
Black Short Mascara
RRP: $37.95

This mascara lengthens and separated my lashes quite impressively. I was super impressed how my lashes looked and felt after I've applied this product. It felt super soft and didn't flake through out the day. This mascara does have a scent, which is a pleasant smell. Kinda like coco butter but better. Which I found quite nice, as many mascaras don't have a pleasant scent. Its a water based formula enriched with soothing acaria gum, protective beeswax and shea butter. It leaves a natural curl in your lashes upon applied, almost looks like fake lashes. The best thing about it, Its all natural!

Rimmel London *
Lash Accelerator Endless Fibre Mascara
RRP: $17.95

Lash Accelerator is used for my everyday makeup, I wore this almost everyday of September, as it looks natural and instantly adds length. I did notice some changes. My lashes appeared longer and stronger. I was asked many times if I got lash extensions or if I was wearing fakes. The brush is lash-catching to give the perfect separation without clumping. Its the perfect mascara if you're wanting cute, girly eyes.

Curtis Collection *
Luxe Liner - Black
RRP: $35.00

Great liquid eyeliner for precise, controlled application every time. Very fine tip glides smoothly onto the lid, delivering colour intensity in a single sweep. This liner creates a subtle definition using the tip of the liner for a thick black line with a dramatic finish. By using the side of the pen, you can create a bold, thick, glamorous cat eye. Loved how this liner didn't crack like other liners, lasted the whole day. So easy to wash off at night too.

Swisspers
Facial Cleaning Wipes - Original
Pack of 25 Wipes
RRP: $5.99

Ive always loved and used Swisspers cleaning wipes as theyre actually made to do the job. It removes all my makeup off, even those water proof mascaras. Also cleanses, tones and moisturisers without drying out your skin. Leaves it feeling like a babies bum haha. Im really liking the product changes to the packaging. They've now got a plastic flip cover instead of the adhesive that most makeup wipes have, which lead to drying out. So the flip cover was a smart choice, really does make your wipes last longer. The sheets are fairly big that it covers my whole face and also a lot thicker, which makes it easier to use. They're perfect for those lazy nights where you cant be bother walking to the bathroom, easy to store in your bag or inside your bed side table. If you haven't tried these, what are you waiting for?

Calvin Klein *
Downtown
50ML
RRP: $90

The femininity of downtown s displayed in a light soft pink colouring bottle. The liquid is a pink tone, which sprays on clear. I found the colouring to be very cute, girly and sweet. The cap of the bottle is a silver hollow design with a bright fushsia accents that adds a modern edge. Which using your cap to filter your photos, so you can enter that Calvin Klein competition on instragam. The fragrance balances feminine woods with soft floral notes. Opening with Italian Cedrat, Bergamot, Tunisian Neroli, Green Pear and Watery Plum. Downtown is developed with notes of Pink Peppercorn, Violet Leaf and Gardenia Petals and dries down with Texan Cedarwood and Velvet Musks. Which you can really smell the warm musky, woody scent while wearing it.

LUSH
Rub Rub Rub
Shower Scrub
RRP: $12.95

This product makes shower ten times funnier. Actually, using LUSH products are fun full stop. This Rub Rub Rub is a bit of a variation on the normal shower gel. Its packed full of mineral-rich with Sea Salt and a refreshing dash of lemon juice and the tropical scent of mimosa blossom that gently exfoliating the skin, leaving it feeling super soft and shiny. I tend to use once a week, maybe twice when fake tanning, to ensure I get all that dry, dead skin off before applying a gorgeous tan. Its suitable for all skin types. So everyone can join in on this LUSH shower party.

Marc By Marc Jacobs
Enamel Stars & Disc Necklace
RRP: $129.95

I got this necklace from my boyfriend as a gift to celebrate our 2 years together. Before receiving it, I was eye balling it at work, as its just a gorgeous piece. I wanted it so bad, that I saved it as my wallpaper on my phone (how sad am I?) I was actually going to reward myself with this necklace for all the hard work I did with opening David Jones Malvern Store. As Marc Jacobs is a very popular brand, it kept selling out. Guess I have expensive taste. So I was glad my boyfriend was actually paying attention this year round and brought it for me. Decorated with enamel stars, silver engraved balls and enamel logo discs by Marc By Marc Jacobs/ The aqua blue enamel contrasts beautifully with the gold-tone chain.

*any products stated with * means they've been sent out to me to try and review. everything is stated in my HONEST opinion, I wasn't paid in any form of giving a positive feedback. nor am I paid to feature the products on my blog*
