L’Oréal Paris is delighted to welcome Hungarian supermodel and L’Oréal Paris global ambassador Barbara
Palvin to Australia this March as its VIP guest at one of the brand’s biggest Australian launches scheduled for
2015.
Barbara has walked the red carpet at countless global events – including the Cannes Film Festival and the
Golden Globe Awards – and will join Australian Face of L’Oréal Paris, Megan Gale, at an invitation-only cocktail
event in Sydney on 24 March 2015 as the brand unveils a game-changing innovation for the Australian beauty
industry.
Known for her baby-doll style, penetrating blue gaze, boundless energy, sense of humour and maturity, the 21-
year-old beauty has fast become one of the most accomplished supermodels of her generation. Barbara joined
the L’Oréal Paris family in 2012 and was the youngest ambassador ever to be signed to the brand.
As a member of the honoured L’Oréal Paris ‘Dream Team’, Barbara stands beside some of the most beautiful and
accomplished women in the world including fellow ambassadors Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds,
Jane Fonda, Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Zoe Saldana and
Australia’s own Megan Gale to name a few.
First spotted in her hometown of Budapest, Barbara has made a big name for herself on the global stage in the
past few years appearing on the covers of Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Harper’s BAZAAR and L’Officiel. She has also
modelled for major fashion houses including Victoria’s Secret, Prada, Louis Vuitton, MiuMiu, Chanel, Vivienne
Westwood, Armani Exchange and H&M. Last year Barbara also appeared in the Brett Ratner movie, Hercules.
This marks Barbara’s second visit to Australia for L’Oréal Paris, her last visit two years ago to celebrate the 2013
Melbourne Fashion Festival. While in Australia, Barbara will also spend time working with L’Oreal Paris on a
series of top-secret film and photo shoots plus will hopefully also take time to visit some of the country’s most
iconic tourist attractions.
